No dues or fees are required to attend meetings. We follow the ACA 7th Tradition which states: "Every ACA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions".
To this end, we are self-supporting through our own contributions and we give as we can afford to, an acknowledgment of the benefits the ACA program provides us.
Financial information for ACA North York is available at anytime to any member who has attended our meeting. A Statement listing Contributions and Expenses for ACA North York is emailed approximately every 3 months to members listed on the Contact list.
Surplus contributions are distributed according to group conscience, which might include a contribution to the World Service Organization, advancing a local cause related to ACA or a charity. The final decision rests with all attendees of the ACA North York.
